Abbie Chatfield puts on a leggy display in mini shorts while out for a walk with a friend in Bondi

She is back in the spotlight after being announced as the host of Love Island Australia Afterparty.

And former Bachelor star Abbie Chatfield made sure to turn heads as she went for a stroll with her friend in Sydney’s trendy Bondi Beach.

The 26-year-old put on a leggy display in a pair of tiny shorts teamed with a black hoodie.

After finishing the sweet treat, the blonde beauty and her friend put their face masks back on and continued their walk.

Abbie was recently announced as the host of Love Island Australia Afterparty, the official after-show of the Channel Nine reality show.

Some critics called her out for not being qualified for the job, but she was quick offer a sassy response.

‘Not sure why people constantly question why I get cast for things,’ she wrote on Instagram, alongside of a video of herself sunbathing in her backyard.

‘Maybe because you keep commenting, babe. Or maybe because I did good in an audition, I don’t know,’ she added.

‘I’m looking forward to offering a different perspective than I guess other potential hosts could have,’ the former Bachelor star explained.

Love Island Australia season three will return to Nine later this year, after production was delayed due to Covid-19 and the set moved from Queensland to NSW. 

Meanwhile, Sophie Monk will return as host of the main show.
