Advanced Hair Studio founder reveals what Shane Warne is REALLY like

Australian cricketer Shane Warne is celebrating 16 years as an ambassador for the hair-loss treatment company Advanced Hair Studio.

And as he fronts a new TV advertisement for the brand, its founder and chairman Carl Howell has revealed what it’s like to work with the 51-year-old ‘Spin King’.

Mr Howell told Daily Mail Australia last week it had ‘been a pleasure’ working with the sporting legend.

‘He’s a legend. It’s been a pleasure working with him. He’s been an amazing ambassador for 16 years,’ Mr Howell said. 

He said Shane was just like any ordinary Aussie bloke concerned about losing his hair before he began treatment at his clinic, which offers advanced laser therapy. 

‘Anybody that is losing their hair, it affects them one way or another, it’s normal for everybody,’ Mr Howell explained.

‘I think Shane obviously didn’t like losing his hair and most men don’t, there was nothing extraordinary about it, but a matter of doing something about it,’ he added. 

Mr Howell said he was approached by Shane to help with his male pattern baldness and now he’s a ‘walking and talking example of what can be done’ to regrow hair.

‘We’re definitely the world leaders in research, there is no doubt about that,’ Carl said, with Advanced Hair Clinic offering treatments to both men and women. 

‘Whatever we create and introduce into the market place, by the time our competitors have copied and started to emulate what we’re doing, we’ve moved on and created something again and that’s one of the reasons why we’re so successful.’

He added: ‘The general public know we can help them.’

He recently spoke about his hair loss in an official statement for the company and said he’s ‘proud’ of working with the brand for 16 years.  

‘Hair loss is a serious issue. It can cause loss of confidence, embarrassment, and shyness,’ Shane said. 

‘Especially during the tough times we are having with Covid-19 and lockdowns. I am proud of my 16 year association with Advanced Hair and the real help we have given people right across the world to overcome their hair loss problems.’
