Abby made headlines two years later, in September 2018 when she took a swipe at Jake on Instagram by cropping him out of their Brownlow Medal photo from 2015.
It was a rather unusual decision because she could have simply posted one of the many solo photos taken of her on the red carpet that night.
Instead, she shared a picture of the former couple but obscured Jake completely behind a vertical black bar, with only a portion of his tuxedo visible.
She wrote in the caption: ‘Just your yearly reminder that I was fortunate enough to attend [the Brownlow] once.
‘I walked in matching the tablecloths and never got to redeem myself ever again. Everyone tonight looks SO HOT! It’s next level.
‘I was also in New Idea’s worst dressed, so yeah happy Brownlow.’
Everyday chaos: Since her split from Jake, Abby has built a lucrative social media brand around her life as a ‘former WAG’ and runs self-improvement workshops for women. Her social media posts have earned her a dedicated following in the mummy blogosphere
Abby spoke about her split from Jake during a podcast interview in 2019.
The stay-at-home mum revealed the exes had agreed to ‘put down their swords’ and work together for the sake of their children.
‘We are probably still going to have our hiccups,’ she said.
‘But we’ve got such a sense of maturity now, we know we operate best when we all operate together… and if one of us is angry, we know we need to get back to that special bond we’re sharing because it works for the kids.’

Abby praised Jake’s new girlfriend Taylor McVeigh in the same interview.
‘I love Taylor,’ she said. ‘She works so well with us and it’s something that I’ve had to learn to love over time because there is this woman all of a sudden placed in the mix.
‘We are conditioned to be intimidated and threatened by this person and I’m not. I think she’s amazing and she has been this whole time.’

Her social media posts, which include daily videos of her sometimes chaotic personal life, have earned her a dedicated following in the mummy blogosphere.
While the comments on her photos are generally supportive, she also has her fair share of detractors.
Abby has been criticised on websites such as Gomiblog, a forum dedicated to discussing bloggers and influencers, for her parenting style and ‘oversharing’ private details of her life.
