Aldi recalls Roosters chicken due to presence of salmonella – ‘return this product’

    Sainsbury’s said in a statement: “It has been brought to our attention that packs of Knoppers Wafers that are overstickered and have been purchased at Sainsbury’s with the batch codes above, contain undeclared allergens.

    “The affected batches have different labels and do not consistently highlight or declare peanuts, soya or milk on the packaging making them unsuitable for customers with an allergy to those ingredients.”

    The best before dates affected are July 19, 2021 and August 16, 2021.

    Shoppers who have bought this food item should return it to their nearest store for a full refund.
