Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta may experiment with three big changes vs FC Zurich

Finally, Arteta could give a first start of the season to Cedric Soares at right-back. He came on against Forest to earn his first minutes of the campaign.

Arteta will want to rest his first-choice full-backs Ben White and Takehiro Tomiyasu, while Oleksandr Zinchenko only returned to training on Wednesday, so Cedric could get his opportunity. Gabriel may partner Rob Holding in the middle of defence, with Kieran Tierney at left-back.

Goalkeeper Matt Turner remains a doubt due to a groin injury. Aaron Ramsdale could therefore keep his place and will be hoping to improve on his European debut last week.

Arsenal’s expected XI vs Zurich: Ramsdale; Cedric, Holding, Gabriel, Tierney; Partey, Lokonga, Vieira; Nelson, Nketiah, Martinelli.
