Ava DuVernay and Mayim Bialik both showed their support for the respected television executive Peter Roth when he was presented with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on Thursday.

The 49-year-old Oscar-nominated filmmaker looked stylish in an olive overcoat, while the 45-year-old temporary Jeopardy! host stuck to a more casual ensemble.

Also joining the A-listers was the television super-producer Chuck Lorre, who spoke for his friend Roth.

Ava was effortlessly elegant in a hypnotizing blue dress with a striped skirt and patches of leopard print.

The dress was belted around her midriff, and she contrasted it with pointy black shoes with thick beige heels.

Ava stayed warm on the breezy day in Hollywood with an elegant olive cashmere overcoat that she wore draped over her shoulders.

She wore her hair styled up top into braids pushed to one side, with the rest of her hair in long dreads, which framed her impeccably made-up face.

Ava and Mayim’s presence may have been a bit awkward, as the Big Bang Theory actress wasn’t the director’s first choice to take over as the new Jeopardy! host.

Shortly after the show’s former executive producer Mike Richards was selected to be the new host, Ave expressed her disappointment that Levar Burton wouldn’t get the job with a Schitt’s Creek meme captioned: ‘Me trying to create a show right in this moment for @levarburton to host and make an international hit.’

Richards was swiftly pushed out of the job after past sexist remarks that he made on a podcast came to light, while other fans were up in arms from the moment he was announced as they new host, as they believed he had essentially given himself the job.

Since his ouster, Mayim is temporarily filling in as the regular Jeopardy host before she takes over as the host of rarer primetime specials.

Earlier this week, the New York Times questioned whether some of her past anti-vaccine statements might ultimately keep her from taking over the job permanently.

Although Bialik says she and her family have received Covid-19 vaccines, in her 2012 book Beyond The Sling, she wrote that she and her husband had made the ‘informed decision not to vaccinate our children.’

The sitcom star will be hosting Jeopardy! solo until November 5, when former champ Ken Jennings will split the hosting duties.

During the ceremony, Bialik paused to snap a photo with ‘The King of Sitcoms’ Chuck Lorre, who co-created her hit series The Big Bang Theory, which aired on CBS for 12 years.

Roth waited in the wings as Lorre serenaded him while looking debonaire in a blue suit with a lighter blue tie.

He served as the longtime chairman and CEO of Warner Bros. Television Studios from 1999 until the end of last year.

Primary to his most famous gig, he bounced around some the major television studios with stints at ABC and Fox before moving to Warners.

He became known for nurturing talent and high-performing shows, and he and Lorre developed a strong relationship thanks to a steady stream of hit sitcoms.

‘For 25 years, at table reads, run-throughs and shoot nights, I’d constantly glance over at Peter to see if he was laughing. If he was, I knew we were in good shape,’ Lorre told Variety. ‘I trusted his response. He was unafraid to be vulnerable. To let out an honest belly laugh. He was the rare TV exec who never felt the need to maintain that bulls***, stoic, I-know-something-you-don’t demeanor.’

Joining Roth for the honor was his wife Andrea Roth, who wore a colorful dress with a black coat.
