Boris Becker's ex-wife Lilly shows off makeup free visage on 45th birthday

Boris Becker’s ex-wife Lilly was feeling confident and happy on her 45th birthday on Friday.

The Dutch model took to Instagram to share a video of herself in bed, and thanked friends for their wishes after waking up to find 158 text messages on her phone after drawing attention to her broken thumb, saying: ‘My thumb is still broken.’

Showing off her radiant and makeup free visage alongside her bandaged thumb, the brunette was in great spirits, telling fans that she ‘loves herself’, and has already meditated and prayed. She did not specify how she injured her hand.

‘So, happy birthday to me! My thumb is still broken,’ she said in the clip, drawing attention to a bandage.

‘I normally don’t make messages,’ she continued, before erupting in laughter upon realising she almost flashed her cleavage to her Instagram followers.

Lilly went on to share her shock upon waking up to find 158 messages on her phone.

‘I’m actually surprised so many people have my number, but thank you. I simply cannot reply to all of them, it’s too much,’ she said. 

Once again thanking her friends for their well-wishes, Lilly concluded by saying that this is 45, ‘no makeup, I love myself’, and has already meditated and prayed.   

Former Wimbledon champion Boris, 53, split from Lilly in 2018 after a 13-year relationship and nine years of marriage, and it’s understood they are still in the ‘final stages’ of divorcing.

In May 2019, the pair reached an agreement after becoming embroiled in a family court dispute over their son Amadeus, 11.

Last year, Lilly hit out out at Boris’ girlfriend Lilian de Carvalho Monteiro as she urged her to ‘step away from my child’ after she was seen with Amadeus in Ibiza at the end of July. 

Lilian had been seen wrapping her arms around the tennis legend’s son while they waded in the ocean during their holiday.

Referring to her estranged husband, Lilly went on: ‘B won’t tell you! But I will otherwise you won’t get the message! Have a fab holiday – without touching my kid! He’s off limits! Period!!’ (sic)

MailOnline contacted Boris’ representatives at the time for comment. 

Earlier this week, Lilly told Hello! magazine that she’s ready to find love again.

‘I am emotionally ready, so it’s just trying to find the right one. Don’t we all long for that fairytale ending?’ she said.
