Brynne Edelsten’s claims that she never consummated her marriage to Geoffrey Edelsten re-emerge after his death at the age of 78
Brynne Edelsten (née Gordon) revealed that she never consummated her marriage to then-husband Geoffrey Edelsten during their six years as husband and wife.
Those claims have remerged after the doctor’s death at age 78 on Friday.
In a previously unpublished interview with The Herald Sun, the 38-year-old stated: ‘We never had a sexual relationship at all’.

The American socialite made the same claims in a interview with the The Kyle & Jackie O Show in 2016.
‘I had a dry spell for a while – I was with him for eight years and married to Geoffrey for six years, which…there was seriously nothing there,’ Gabi revealed.
Keen to clarify, host Kyle Sandilands asked: ‘So, what no sex with Geoffrey either?’
To which the blonde replied adamantly, ‘No. No’.

When asked if she had slept with anyone else during that time, Brynne insisted: ‘I never cheated on my husband’.
Brynne, a fitness instructor from California, met Geoffrey, 40 years her senior, in October 2008.
The then-couple wed in a lavish ceremony at The Crown in Melbourne in 2009, that reportedly cost $3million. He was 66 and she was 26.

They exchanged vows in front of friends, family and celebrity guests such as Seinfeld’s Jason Alexander, The Nanny’s Fran Drescher and Neighbours starlet Margot Robbie.
Geoffrey and Brynne’s relationship was captured in a short-loved reality TV show called Brynne: My Bedazzled Life from 2012 to 2014.
But the couple called it quits, separating in 2014 and finalising their divorce in April 2015.

Edelsten, who died in Melbourne aged 78 on Friday, was a brilliant but disgraced medical entrepreneur and one of Australia’s great self-publicists.
His last two years were believed to have been relatively quiet, increasingly spent as a recluse in the Balencea Apartments on St Kilda Road.
As his health faded, Edelsten had few visitors and is believed to have been found in his apartment by his cleaner. His death is not being treated as suspicious.
