Buyer’s agent reveals which team is most likely to win The Block – and who they think will be the ‘dark horse’ on auction day
The finale of The Block is set to air on Sunday, with the homes going under the hammer.
And ahead of the highly-anticipated episode, a buyer’s agent has revealed who they think will win the show, and the one team who is going to be the ‘dark horse’ on auction day.
Buyer’s agent Nicole Jacobs told The Herald Sun on Thursday that she thinks Kirsty Lee Akers and Jesse Anderson will take out the win because of their home at Bronte Court being on a big block, but Mitch Edwards and Mark McKie could also take the win.

Despite saying the reserve prices and auction day order will have an impact on the prices, Kirsty and Jesse are her top pick.

‘My dark horse is Mitch and Mark — they have created a real four-bedroom with real connection. And gosh, it comes with a Chanel handbag.’

She added that Georgia and Ronnie Caceres are ‘strong contenders’ with their lavish pad.
‘I think they’re the masters of being able to present a home that is very luxurious — they play with a lot of texture,’ she said.

He is due to represent Mitch and Mark and said the pair have a good shot of winning.
Meanwhile it was reported on Monday that security has been ramped up for The Block finale, as producers fear ‘a massive tantrum’ on auction day.
According to New Idea, security has been ramped up to deal with crazed fans and warring contestants.
‘Emotions are high. This is the first time the contestants are coming back face to face after so much has been said and done,’ a source said.
‘There are some very open wounds… expect tears and for one couple, no doubt a massive tantrum.’
Meanwhile, several couples are reportedly threatening to boycott the finale over their feuds with producers and judges.
As reported by Woman’s Day, Tanya and Vito Guccione are doing everything they can to get out of attending auction day.
The Block finale airs on Sunday at 7pm on Channel Nine.
