Cardiff stabbing: Two rushed to hospital after 'assault' in city centre

    South Wales Police officers responded to an emergency call to the city centre at 4:30pm on Friday, November 5. They said two people have been taken to hospital and one person is in custody, but have not confirmed the details of assault which eyewitnesses claim was a stabbing.

    Justyn Knight, an inspector with South Wales Police, said: “I can confirm there has been an assault in the city centre this evening [Friday, November 5].

    “It happened at around 4.30pm.

    “Two people have been taken to hospital, one person is in custody.

    “A cordon is in place while the investigation takes place.”
