Charles preparing for Harry's book release as Firm fear bombshells could overshadow them

Prince Harry’s memoir is due for release in the coming weeks, putting pressure on the newly nominated King Charles III. When the Duke of Sussex first announced details of the book last year, he said in a statement: “I’m writing this not as the prince I was born but as the man I have become. I’ve worn many hats over the years, both literally and figuratively, and my hope is that in telling my story—the highs and lows, the mistakes, the lessons learned – I can help show that no matter where we come from, we have more in common than we think.

“I’m deeply grateful for the opportunity to share what I’ve learned over the course of my life so far and excited for people to read a first-hand account of my life that’s accurate and wholly truthful.”

Harry and Meghan appeared to have invested their time developing their bond with the Queen after they quit as working royals in 2020.

But their relationship with King Charles and Prince William has been greatly troubled.

As the new head of the Windsors, the King could, if he sees fit, offer to welcome Harry and Meghan back as part-time working royals.

However, this could conflict with their Netflix and Spotify commercial deals and a new life away from the monarchy.

The Royal Family enthusiast also warned that while there is still some goodwill towards Harry, that would quickly “evaporate” if the book is released and contains criticisms of the royal and would make him a “complete outcast”.

He added: “There is more goodwill towards Harry but all of that would evaporate if he puts out a book that is full of attacks against his own family. Any remaining respect for Harry would quickly disappear at the drop of a hat

“The release of the book by Harry that contains major attacks on the Royal Family end all hopes of reconciliation with the Royal Family.

“It would burn bridges, be hugely destructive and Harry would be a complete outcast.”
