Cleaning: Mrs Hinch fans share 89p white vinegar hack for ‘streak-free’ kitchen tiles

Fans of cleaning sensation Mrs Hinch have shared more advice on social media for cleaning and tidying. Mrs Hinch, whose full name is Sophie Hinchliffe, became famous after sharing her cleaning and tidying tips on social media and TV. She now has a podcast with her husband, 4.1 million followers on Instagram and has authored several books.

Fans of hers have also taken to social media to create their own groups dedicated to cleaning tips and hacks.

On one such group with over 600,000 members, a user asked: “Best thing to clean these tiles tried everything and they keep going streaky?”

The user shared a photo of her black metro tiles which she had attempted to clean.

The post was inundated with over 260 comments from fellow cleaning enthusiasts who recommended using a simple 89p product.

Another said: “White vinegar spray…Wilko is brilliant.”

Another user replied: “White vinegar then a dry microfibre cloth.”

“White vinegar and a fish scale cloth,” replied another person.

Another said: “I have these tiles. I use elbow grease cleaner (but not too much) and then dry with microfibre cloth.

“Always comes up streak free.”

Another Mrs Hinch fan replied: “I use glass cleaner on my black tiles and buff with kitchen roll.”

Another individual said: “Soapy water and wet and dry microfibre cloths I have the same tiles…

“Don’t wash your cloths with fabric conditioner as they won’t work properly.”

Another said: “I have the exact same tiles and I either use furniture polish or Elbow Grease, never have an issue always come up lovely.”
