Sam Blakeman (played by Jude Riordan) has been writing to Harvey Gaskell (Will Mellor) in prison on Coronation Street. He has been wanting to know why Harvey killed his mother Natasha Blakeman (Rachel Leskovac) a year ago. He was warned by Leanne Battersby (Jane Danson) and his father Nick Tilsley (Ben Prince) not to write any more letters but ITV soap spoilers have revealed the youngster will turn to Roy Cropper (David Neilson) for help.

Leanne is still haunted by Natasha’s death as Harvey was meant to kill her instead.

She and Nick have been advising Sam not to try and make contact with Harvey, but it appears as though their calls will fall on deaf ears.

Official soap spoilers have revealed Sam meets Roy in the local cafe for a chat.

The youngster explains to the soap veteran how he has been reading and researching restorative justice.

Sam tells Roy he wants to visit Harvey in prison and wonders if he will go with him as Nick has flat-out refused.

However, Sam’s plan backfires as Roy decides to tell Nick. How will he react?

Later on, Leanne urges Nick to consider letting Sam visit the murderer in jail as it might give him the closure he desperately needs.

Nick has the ultimate say, so what will the heartbroken father decide?

Articles about John started being printed in the local Gazette which caused Hope to go missing from school.

She had snuck off with Sam who explained Hope was upset about the cruel things her classmates said to her regarding the articles about her dad.

Nick had also heard about what had been happening at school, explaining that he would appreciate it if Hope stayed away from Sam.

When a furious Tyrone heard about what Nick said, he stormed over to his and Leanne’s flat where he punched him in the face.
