And David Beckham was proving to be his own best advertisement as he enjoyed a cocktail in a new Instagram snap shared on Thursday.
The footballer, 46, told his followers: ‘Thirsty Thursday. Responsibly of course’, as he sipped on the whisky mixed with ginger ale and lime, while son Brooklyn was honing his skateboarding skills on his own Instagram elsewhere.

David looked content as he sipped the whisky cocktail, which he’d poured from a pre-mixed Haig Club tin, at home in his kitchen.
Haig Club – a single grain, no-age-statement Scotch whisky – was launched by David alongside Diageo and music mogul Simon Fuller back in 2014.
David looked effortlessly stylish in his plain white T-shirt and well-groomed salt and pepper stubble as he wore his locks in a tousled side swept style.
While David was sipping on cocktails, his son Brooklyn was showcasing his skateboarding skills in the sunshine.

Brooklyn has riskily placed his phone on the floor facing the sky as he flipped the skateboard over the camera to demonstrate his talents.
Listening to BYE by Jaden, the 22-year-old enjoyed the sunshine in a navy T-shirt, jeans and white trainers as he practised his tricks.
Working up a hunger from the skateboarding stunts, Brooklyn then grabbed a burger from the US chain Wendy’s.
It came after Brooklyn took to Instagram to post a gushing tribute to his fiancé Nicola Peltz on Wednesday.

In the post shared with his 12.4 million Instagram followers the couple were seen smooching for the camera.
Nicola looked stunning in a glitter dress while Brooklyn was dapper in a navy jumper paired with black jeans. The photographer wrote: ‘This exact day 1 year ago I asked this gorgeous woman to marry me.
‘She makes me a better person everyday and is my best friend. I can’t imagine my life without you because you continuously make me laugh and smile x happy 1 year’.

In another snap the pair were seen posing at the beach with Nicola draping her arm over her fiancé’s shoulder. The actress looked incredible in tiny denim shorts and a pink and green crossover crop top which she paired with a white blouse.
Brooklyn wore a white T-shirt and trainers with black shorts and a baseball cap.

In October it was claimed that the pair planned to exchange vows in two celebrations on both sides of the Atlantic.
It’s thought that Brooklyn will have his brothers Romeo, 18, and Cruz, 15, as his best men for the ceremony, with mum Victoria designing actress Nicola’s wedding gown.
According to The Sun, Brooklyn’s sister Harper, nine, will be chief bridesmaid for Brooklyn and Nicola’s wedding.

David will act as the master of ceremonies, with his younger sons being best men for the celebration and giving a joint speech at the reception.
A source said: ‘Brooklyn is incredibly family focused, just like his parents, and the boys are so close. They are brothers and best mates.
‘Although many assumed David would get the gig, there was really never any question of who he would choose to be his best men.’
