    David Beckham looked handsome as ever as he donned a tuxedo for the Who Cares Wins awards at the Roundhouse in London on Tuesday. 

    The footballer, 46, beamed as he was pictured on the red carpet alongside his mum Sandra, 72, who he took along for the event. 

    While he looked dapper, the star appeared to have had an accident prior to the event as he sported a mystery cut on his nose.

    Despite the mystery ailment, David still looked sleek as he sported his traditional tuxedo on the red carpet.   

    The star also sported a fresh trim after shaving a few inches of his bleach blond locks.

    Meanwhile, Sandra looked effortlessly stylish for the event as she sported a pair of black tailored trousers and a blazer paired with a plain top.

    The mother-and-son duo seemed in high spirits as they were pictured spending some quality time together at the event. 

    David also ran into Prime Minister Boris Johnson outside the venue, sharing a smile and a cheeky fist bump with him. 

    The Inter Miami CF president also made time for his doting fans, stopping to take selfies and photos with them before heading inside.

    The Who Cares Wins awards celebrates people who have looked after the nation, especially in these trying times.

    The categories include: 999 Hero, Best Charity, Best Doctor, Best Midwife, Best Nurse, Ground breaking Pioneer, Mental Health Hero, National Lottery Award, Ultimate lifesaver, Unsung Hero and Young Hero. 

    The National Lottery and NHS Charities Together have teamed up to sponsor the event in Camden.

    This year, the awards are honouring the late Caroline Flack by naming an award in her honour. 

    Although the award is taking place on Tuesday night, it will be shown on Channel 4 on Sunday at 7.30pm – with Davina McCall hosting the show.
