    David Duchovny seeking to sell chic Central Park West apartment in NYC for $7.5million… nine years after picking it up for $6million

    David Duchovny has listed his luxury apartment in Manhattan, asking $7.5 million for the Central Park West property.

    The home for sale from the X-Files actor, 60, is located at the classic Ardsley building, has three bedrooms and three bathrooms with exquisite views of Central Park from 19 stories up, Page Six reported.

    The home, which was designed by Emery Roth, has features including a den, wood floors, beamed ceilings and large windows that allow for light and impeccable views.

    Among the amenities of the pre-war co-op include a private terrace and elevator landing.

    The Ardsley building boasts a 24-hour doorman and concierge and has a live-in superintendent, as well as a gym, library, storage area and laundry room.

    The home features a narrow kitchen adjacent to a booth, while the bathrooms include subway tiling. 

    The Californication star initially bought the property for more than $6 million in 2012.

    He and then-wife Téa Leoni sold Mel Gibson a Malibu home for $11.5 million.

    Duchovny is currently working with Showtime on a TV adaptation of his novel Truly Like Lightning, which was released this past February.

    Duchovny is working on the adaptation with Tyler Nilson and Michael Schwartz. He told Deadline in March, ‘I’m so excited to be heading back home to Showtime with the uniquely talented team of Schwartz and Nilson – it’s a collaboration I can’t wait to begin.’
