    Dess Dior confirms she has tested positive for COVID-19 just days after performing at Rolling Loud in Miami

    Just days after performing to a packed crowd at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami, singer Dess Dior has confirmed she tested positive for COVID-19.

    The 22-year-old rapper (born Destiny Bailey) performed during the Rolling Loud festival on Saturday, though she revealed just a day later she was not feeling well.

    ‘I’m sick af in soooooo much pain rn,’ Dior said on a tweet send on Sunday evening.

    A few minutes later she added in another tweet, ‘I don’t think I have Covid but ima get tested to be safe.’

    The singer quote-retweeted that same tweet on Monday evening, revealing she tested positive for the virus.

    ‘Update: I tested positive for Covid & everybody who’s been in contact with me should go get tested asap,’ she said.

    Dior hasn’t offered any further updates on her condition since revealing her positive test on Monday.

    The rapper also hasn’t revealed if she has been vaccinated against COVID-19 before taking the stage at Rolling Loud.

    It also has not been confirmed if the Rolling Loud festival tested performers before the festival or not.

    While it’s unclear if the festival required its performers to be vaccinated or even tested before the show, they didn’t require either from attendees.

    ‘Proof of vaccinations are not required to [enter], as in accordance with local and state laws,’ read an excerpt from the Rolling Loud information page.

    The excerpt continued, ‘Vaccinations, however, are an effective way to fight the virus and are encouraged.

    The festival did mandate the wearing of masks at the outdoor festival, which they said was, ‘in accordance with local and state laws.

    ‘However, we encourage all attendees to wear masks, as not wearing masks consistently and correctly, can increase risk of being infected with COVID-19,’ the excerpt continued.

    There is no indication if any other performer at Rolling Loud has tested positive for COVID-19 yet.
