    Dwayne Johnson hilariously messed with his Red Notice costar Ryan Reynolds on Instagram on Wednesday.  

    The 49-year-old performer posted a photo of a Netflix billboard which read: ‘Ryan Reynolds uses his mom’s Netflix account.’ 

    The actor also wrote a short message in his post’s caption that began with: ‘One last heist for the road. Beat that, @vancityreynolds.’

    Johnson made a point of expressing his love and admiration for his costar’s mother, although he did not appear to hold Reynolds in such high regard.

    ‘For the record, Ryan’s mama is an AMAZING WOMAN. Not sure why Ryan turned out the way he did,’ he wrote.

    The 45-year-old Deadpool star made a point of leaving a comment on his costar’s post and joked about his mother’s viewing habits.

    ‘In fairness, my mom uses my OnlyFans account,’ he wrote.

    Johnson notably encouraged his followers to go watch Red Notice upon its soon-to-occur release in his message.

    The film, which was directed by Rawson Marshall Thurber, is centered on an FBI agent who enlists the help of an art thief in order to catch a budding criminal.

    In addition to the two castmates, the action-comedy flick also stars Gal Gadot in one of its leading roles.

    News about the project was first broken in 2018, when it was noted that the Skyscraper star would both appear in the film and act as one of its executive producers.

    The 36-year-old actress signed on to work on the project that June, and Reynolds was added to its cast the following year.

    Other performers, such as Chris Diamantopoulos and Rita Arya, were revealed to have been added to the film’s lineup last year.

    Filming was initially set to begin in 2019, although it was delayed to the following year.

    Production eventually began in January and filming was quickly shut down due to the onset of the global pandemic.

    Principal photography later picked up again in September and continued for two more months before the project’s crew wrapped.

    The film was initially set to be released in 2020, although it was delayed twice before it was given a set release date of November 12th.

    According to Rotten Tomatoes, only 43% of critics have given Red Notice a positive review, while 92% of audiences have enjoyed the feature.
