Elyse Knowles soaks up the sun as she enjoys a stroll along the beach with her son Sunny

Elyse Knowles welcomed her first child, a baby boy named Sunny, back in February.

And on Sunday, the 28-year-old was spotted soaking up the sun with her son as they enjoyed an oceanside stroll in Byron Bay.

Elyse flaunted her slender post-baby body in a green singlet top which she paired with a skirt.

The former Block star was seen smiling while carrying little Sunny as they made their way across the beach.

Elyse showed off her natural complexion, appearing to be makeup free on the outing.

Back in May, Elyse revealed she was crippled by anxiety following the birth of her son.

‘I got quite anxious leaving home for the first time. My heart was racing. I didn’t know if I could do it,’ she said. 

‘Having [Sunny], having our dogs and getting out there… and Sunny was screaming in the car and it made me quite scared.’

She added: ‘I found it hard to breathe and I had to tell myself, “It’s fine, what could go wrong? Everyone has babies… you just have to go for it.”

Keeping distracted: Back in May, Elyse revealed she was crippled by anxiety following the birth of her son

‘It took a couple of times to feel confident. But I’m not going to lie, it was hard at the start.’

Elyse said her partner Josh Barker had urged her to go outside and continue her life as normally as possible. 

‘Josh was really great with pushing me out, so we went camping when Sunny was five weeks old,’ she said. 

‘We got out there and did it. Josh said, “What could go wrong?” Which is true. And I’m so grateful he did push me because now I feel confident doing those special things as a family.’

Elyse welcomed Sunny, her first child with Josh, on February 25.
