Kim Tate sets up a trap at Home Farm in a revenge storyline on Emmerdale later this month after she realises she is being drugged by a mystery culprit.

In recent weeks, soap watchers have seen an unidentified hand drop something into her brandy stash on multiple occasions, often leaving Kim feeling unwell. 

After working out she is being drugged by someone close to her, Kim, played by Claire King, decides to set up a trap in a shocking revenge twist.

In true calculating style, Kim sends out formal invitations to her nearest and dearest for a lunch at Home Farm. 

As part of her ruse, Kim announces she is retiring and needs to appoint a successor as her lively guests start to bicker.

Emmerdale has revealed the suspects are Jai Sharma (Chris Bisson), Dawn Taylor (Olivia Bromley), Jamie Tate (Alexander Lincoln), Al Chapman (Michael Wildman), Will Taylor (Dean Andrews) and Gabby Thomas (Rosie Bentham) – but which one is it?

The award-winning ITV soap has also released a new spoiler picture which sees Kim looking menacing at the head of the table while the attendees look nervous.

Talking about the explosive revenge storyline, actress Claire King, 58, who plays Kim, said: ‘Kim is throwing out a line and then seeing who will be reeled in by her shock announcement. 

‘Who wants to succeed her the most? Who will she flush out and expose as her poisoner? Once again Kim holds all the cards – it’s now a waiting game.’ 

While Emmerdale story producer, Sophie Roper, added: ‘Kim’s explosive discovery will send her on a quest for vengeance that will rock the Tate Empire like never before.

The new explosive scenes are set to air later this month, will Kim discover who the mystery culprit is?
