England will be looking to make it two wins from two matches at this summer’s European Championship when they face Scotland to Wembley on Friday night for a mouthwatering contest. Gareth Southgate’s side opened their Euro 2020 campaign with a 1-0 win over Croatia on Sunday, and a win against the ‘Auld Enemy’ will secure qualification from Group D.

Raheem Sterling scored the only goal of the game, as England started their Euro 2020 campaign with an important victory at Wembley.

There were plenty of positives aside from the result, with Leeds man Kalvin Phillips excelling in the middle of the park, reportedly prompting transfer interest from Real Madrid.

Despite some abject performances for Manchester City last season, it was promising to see Sterling find the back of the net for the Three Lions, as he continued his good form for his country.

Scotland started their Euro 2020 campaign off with a 2-0 defeat to Czech Republic, which included a magnificent strike from Bayer Leverkusen striker Patrik Schick.

The Scots need a result against Harry Kane and co to keep their hopes of making it to the knockout stages alive.

Southgate will likely name the same side that started against Croatia, but there could be a change at left-back, with Luke Shaw coming in for natural right-back Kieran Trippier.

As for Scotland, Arsenal defender Kieran Tierney was a huge miss against the Czech Republic as he struggled with a calf problem, but there is a chance that he could return to the side for this match.

Boss Steve Clarke is expected to make a couple of changes from the side that started on Monday, with Southampton’s Che Adams likely to come in to start in attack.
