    EXCLUSIVE: ‘After a terrible 18 months we’re giving our all!’ Westlife joyously announce new tour after numerous Covid delays and vow to give fans the ‘best show yet with LOTS of surprises’


    Westlife fans were left heartbroken when a number of the band’s planned dates were axed throughout the coronavirus pandemic. 

    So devotees of Shane Filan, Markus Feehily, Kian Egan, and Nicky Byrne will no doubt be delighted to hear the group are headed on the road next year on The Wild Dreams Tour, which will take them across the UK’s biggest arenas as well as a new album. 

    Speaking exclusively to MailOnline, Kian, 41, said: ‘After the terrible 18 months we’ve all had, we’re giving this tour our all. I think it’ll be the best Westlife tour yet with some amazing surprises thrown in.’

    Following endless delays in the live music industry throughout the pandemic, Westlife are delighted to announce they will be touring once again. 

    Kian said: ‘Me and the lads missed each other throughout the lockdown and didn’t see each other for well over a year so it is going to be fantastic to get back on the road together again next year!…

    ‘We’ll be making up for lost time and will be giving our fans the best shows of our lives. After the terrible 18 months we’ve all had, we’re giving this tour our all. I think it’ll be the best Westlife tour yet with some amazing surprises thrown in…

    ‘We’ll be playing all of our greatest hits and some of our new songs which have gone down so well. We’re also excited to be releasing our new album next month. Our last album, in 2019, went straight to No1 and that’s where we want to be again.’

    ‘After the last 18 months, this tour means more to us than any that we’ve ever done before. It will be a massive celebration and will bring us closer to our fans than ever before…

    ‘We’re planning some spectacular shows which will include all of our greatest hits and some special surprises.’

    Their upcoming tour comes after their record-breaking 2019 reunion tour which saw Shane, Nicky, Mark and Kian play to over 600,000 fans across 27 countries.

    They will kick off The Wild Dreams Tour next summer performing across the U.K. including an already sold-out headline show at London’s iconic Wembley Stadium.

    The Wild Dreams Tour will see Westlife get closer to their fans than ever before, as they belt out all of their greatest hits ‘Swear It Again’, ‘Flying Without Wings’ and ‘World of our Own’ as well as, fresh pop anthems from their new album ‘Wild Dreams’. 

    News of the 2022 tour marks the beginning of Westlife’s jam-packed schedule, as the have just released their new single ‘Starlight’ – the first track of the highly anticipated new album Wild Dreams which is available for pre-order now.
