She said they spent four years developing the brand before finally launching it.

‘We saw a gap in the market and felt that women wanted pieces that were more versatile and easier to wear day to day for every occasion,’ she explained.

‘We wanted to create non-boring basics that last far beyond the season – and that our customer can then wear in a way that suits both her life and style.

‘When we design, if we don’t see ourselves personally wearing it all the time, then we don’t make it. Every piece is very personal to us.’

When asked about the ‘brand’s ethos’, Nadia said they produce pieces that are ‘effortless’, ‘well-crafted’ and ‘timeless’.

She added: ‘We are not focused on creating a lot of pieces. Less is more, with quality and a well-crafted design both very important.’
