Full Moon rituals: The 4 rituals to complete this weekend

Following the lunar cycle and completing rituals, each Full and New Moon is a way to mark your progress with particular goals, keep yourself on track and constantly improve yourself. The Aquarius Full Moon is happening this weekend and its theme is self authenticity, being true to yourself and figuring out how you can be the best you can be and serve the world. Express.co.uk reveals the four rituals to complete this weekend, according to Moon Mentor Kirsty Gallagher’s book Lunar Living: Working with the Magic of the Moon Cycles and Eclectic Witch Semra Haksever’s book Mama Moon’s Book of Magic.

During the Aquarius Moon, you’ll need to do lots of thinking, healing and being brutally honest with yourself.

The Aquarius Full Moon is here to “help you untangle, release, experience revelation and to see the truth”, Moon Mentor Kirsty said.

The expert explained: “This Moon will help you to make a clean break so that you can step into what your brightest future can be and see how you can serve in the world if you lean in and trust.”

Witch Semra recommends doing an Aquarius Full Moon spell to harness the Moon power.

She writes in her book: “The Aquarius Full Moon energy is here to expect the unexpected, so if there ever was a time to experiment and try out something new, now would be the time to do it.

“Harness this Moon power to go for it and banish your fears.”

You’ll need the following for this spell:

    • A pinch of frankincense resin
    • A pinch of sandalwood
    • A pinch of cedarwood
    • A mortar and pestle
    • A pen or pencil
    • A piece of paper

Start by blending the frankincense, sandalwood and cedarwood with a mortar and pestle in a clockwise direction and ask the spell mix to guide you and give you the answers you seek.

Burn the mix on a charcoal disk over a flame and watch the smoke travel up.

Close your eyes and write whatever comes to your mind, asking the Universe to show you the way, knowing that the smoke will assist you with writing out what you are meant to do.

A burning ritual is ideal around a Full Moon, so get your matches and paper ready.

Jot down everything you want to release on a piece of paper and burn them in a fireproof dish.

You can write separate things on separate pieces of paper and do this one by one.
