'Genetic link' Christine McGuinness reveals autism link with her three children

    Christine McGuinness has spoken about her diagnosis with autism for the first time during an appearance on Loose Women, saying she demonstrated autistic traits as a child that “no one picked up on”. The 33-year-old said she underwent an AQ test after speculating that her children had been passed on their condition genetically. The mother-of-three underwent tests during the filming of her husband Paddy’s upcoming BBC documentary, which revealed she scored highly on the autism spectrum. With hindsight, Christine said she is able to behavioural patterns which were symptomatic of her condition.
