Georgia Love celebrates five years since first meeting husband Lee Elliott on The Bachelorette with a low-key pub dinner in Melbourne

Georgia Love and Lee Elliott celebrated their five-year anniversary this week.

The newlyweds, who tied the knot in Tasmania in March, went out for a special pub dinner in Melbourne on Wednesday to celebrate five years since first meeting on the Channel 10 dating show, The Bachelorette.

Journalist Georgia, 33, shared a sweet picture of plumber Lee, 40, smiling as they enjoyed their meal alongside a gushing caption.

‘Couldn’t think of a better way to celebrate five years of the world discovering this guy was off the market,’ Georgia captioned her Instagram story, referring to the finale of the show being aired in October 2016.

The pair both tucked in to some chicken parmigiana, chips and salad and a cold beer.

The pair first met and fell in love on The Bachelorette Australia back in 2016.

It’s been a big year for the pair, who married in March and bought a house in Melbourne this month.

The pair tied the knot at the picturesque Frogmore Creek Winery in Tasmania in an outdoor wedding and reception.

The couple was due to marry in Italy last year, but they were forced to cancel their wedding because of the coronavirus pandemic.

It was reported last week that the pair have just splashed out around $1.3million on a townhouse in Victoria’s upmarket Hampton East.

It features a spacious four bedrooms, as well as three bathrooms, and an expansive living-dining area.

The move is welcome news for Georgia, who last month was pulled from her on-air duties at Seven and relegated to the production desk just days after posting a ‘racist’ video on Instagram.
