Fashion A-listers were invited to Venice last week for Dolce and Gabbana’s Alta Moda fashion show. The famous brand was showcasing its Alta Moda, Alta Sartoria, Alta Gioielleria, and Alta Otologeria collections over four days, and Lady Kitty Spencer was privy to the launch.

Yesterday marked the last day of the four-day show, which took place at the Palazzo Ducale, a 14th-century Gothic palace in Venice’s Piazza San Marco.

Explaining the choice of venue, Dolce and Gabbana said: “Palazzo Ducale is the epitome of Venetian art and cultural life and represents one of the highest symbols of ‘La Serenissima’s’ rich history, which for centuries has enchanted the imagination of visitors wherever they look.

“This shrine to Italian excellence and cherished symbol of craftsmanship is today the setting for the presentation of the #DGAltaGioielleria creations.”

Kitty was among the famous faces invited to the iconic event, joining a slew of celebrity guests including Heidi Klum, Jennifer Lopez, Kris Jenner, and Dame Helen Mirren.

Kitty’s gown made its catwalk debut in 2012 in the Sicilian town of Taormina, where Dolce and Gabbana’s first ever Alta Moda fashion show took place.

The elegant dress was part of the collection at the time.

The gown features a sleeveless bodice and a slightly puffed out tulle skirt that reached Kitty’s feet.

Tied at the waist is a thick silk ribbon in a golden beige colour.

Kitty paired the hand-painted dress with impressive jewels.

She wore gold chandelier earrings dangling from diamond ovals, a gold necklace studded with diamonds, and a matching ring.

Her bracelet also matched the gold and diamond necklace.

As for accessories, Kitty carried a pale pink fluffy clutch bag, which closed with a bright pink silk bow.

Both friends and fans were quick to comment on Kitty’s elegant look.

    One person wrote: “Beyond beautiful!”

    Another commented: “Glowing!”

A third said: “Just so stunningly beautiful!”

As Dolce and Gabbana’s global ambassador, Kitty owns many dresses designed by the brand.

The 30-year-old was lucky enough to don five of the designers’ dresses on her wedding day on July 24, including a traditional white number with long sleeves and covered in thick lace.
