Gogglebox’s Pete Sandiford introduced his newborn baby son to the world in sweet scenes from the new series aired on Friday night.
The TV star, 26, – who welcomed his first child with wife Paige Yeomans last month – sat in his usual sofa next to sister Sophie who cooed over her nephew during the episode.
Dressed all in blue, loyal viewers took to Twitter to say how cute the little one was as Pete proved he was every inch the doting dad cuddling his bundle of joy.

However, the sweet moment was interrupted when the baby passed wind – with a shocked Pete exclaiming that he’d ‘s***ted’.
But the funny moment didn’t stop fans from reacting to the cute scenes on social media. One wrote: ‘Omg Pete and his baby my heart!!!’
Another added: ‘Oh Pete mate! What a great start to a new #Gogglebox series. Your boy is a smasher.’

Pete confirmed the news of his son and marriage at the National Television Awards last Thursday night, which he attended with Sophie.
Pete revealed that he and Paige had enjoyed a secret wedding ceremony, and had become parents for the first time after she gave birth to a baby boy.

Pete told OK!: ‘I’m married now! It was nerve-wracking but the best day of my life. Well, second best day as I’m a dad now, too.
‘I’m buzzing [to be at the NTAs] as I got a full night’s sleep in a hotel so I’m well happy.’
He added: ‘[Being a dad is] tiring. The lack of sleep is not cool but it’s definitely worth it.
‘He’s basically a miniature version of me and Paige and that’s what I always wanted so I feel well lucky.’

In April, Pete revealed that he and Paige were expecting their first child, sharing the exciting news as his younger sister Sophie gushed over a scan picture of her niece or nephew.
As the siblings chatted about the soon-to-be new member of their family, Pete exclaimed: ‘I am actually going to be a dad to somebody.’
Handing his sister an image of the ultrasound, Pete said: ‘Here we go, look at this!’ to which Sophie replied: ‘My niece or nephew. Does it look like me?’, while holding the image up to her face.
Her brother joked: ‘No, it’s going to be good looking. Hopefully it looks like Paige. Innit mad? I am actually going to be a dad to somebody.’
In February, Pete revealed that he was engaged during an instalment of Gogglebox, casually dropping into conversation the bombshell news that he was set to wed girlfriend Paige.
Pete confirmed that he was ‘going to have a wife’ while chatting to little sister Sophie, and told his sibling that she would be his ‘best woman’ at the wedding.

Sophie had asked her brother: ‘Do you feel any different now that you’ve got engaged?’ to which he responded: ‘Yeah, I think… I feel like an even bigger responsibility. I don’t know why. I’m going to have a wife’ enthused Pete.
‘Yes, you’re going to have a wife,’ repeated Sophie.
Despite the nonchalaunt nature of Pete’s announcement, Gogglebox fans took to Twitter in their droves to delight over his happy news.
It comes after cruel trolls attacked Pete last October, after he innocently shared a selfie with his stunning girlfriend.

The Gogglebox star, who tends to keep his private life out of the spotlight, proudly shared the couples’ snap of himself with his long-term love.
‘My Mrs and best mate what more could I ask for!’ he wrote, before reassuring his sister: ‘Don’t worry @sophiesandiford1 you are a close second best friend!’
He added of the snap: ‘This was taken last year FYI [sic].’
Generally, fans penned pleasant remarks underneath the snap, but trolls claimed the reality star was ‘punching above his weight’ and that Sophie was ‘out of his league’.
Pete has been a firm-favourite on Gogglebox since he first appeared in 2018 alongside sister Sophie.
Pete remarked in the past that he was ‘gobsmacked’ he was ever even cast on Gogglebox.
‘We’re still gobsmacked that we’re on the show. A woman came up to me saying me and Soph were ace – when people take the time to do that, it means a lot,’ he once told The Sun.
Pete works in insurance as his day job while his sister is a shop window dresser.
Gogglebox airs Fridays at 9PM on Channel 4.
