She’s a master of modest makeup looks that make it appear as if she’s wearing nothing at all.
And Gwyneth shared some of her tips for achieving the same minimalist style in a short video posted to her Goop Instagram page on Sunday.
The 49-year-old Oscar winner showed off her pouting lips and clear skin as she showed off a tinted balm for some color that’s more reserved than traditional lipstick.

Gwyneth looked fresh-faced and casual in a plunging black blouse that contrasted her long blond hair, though she spiced up the modest look with a gold necklace.
She leaned forward to give a clear view of her lips and the gold as she delicately applied the tinted balm.
Once she’d spread it around evenly, she pouted her lips dramatically for the camera and blew a kiss to her viewers.
In the caption, the brand shared that the Royal Tenenbaums actress had updated its popular balm with a mild pigment after it quickly sold out.

‘Tinted balms are my absolute favorite way to wear lip color,’ she added in the caption. ‘I love an easy bit of color that brightens up your whole face.’
She even claimed that she often goes all day with no makeup on aside from the tinted balms.
Her Goop lifestyle brand sells the sticks in a $42 pack of three, with both the darker garnet and a lighter rose shade, as well as a clear balm.

Although Gwyneth’s content promotion her balm was relatively tasteful, she’s no stranger to over-the-top displays to promote some of her more salacious products.
Earlier this month, she promoted another new Goop product, a sexual health booster pill cheekily named DTF (Down to F***).
‘Everyday stress and anxiety, hormonal changes, exhaustion, age… these can impact our libido and sexual health. So yes, we (with our science and research team) created a supplement that REALLY helps,’ she wrote on Instagram.
‘And, yes, we called it DTF. Because, you know, we’re @goop,’ she joked.
The company, which has been criticized for its reliance on what several critics have claimed is pseudoscience, has previously caused a stir with other sex-themed products, including a $75 candle named This Smells Like My Vagina.

Paltrow has lately been focusing her efforts on her lifestyle company, while acting has been a less important part of her life in recent years.
Aside from small parts in recent Marvel films, her last appearance was in the second season of the Netflix series The Politician, which was co-created by her husband Brad Falchuk with Ryan Murphy and Ian Brennan.
In December 2020, the actress revealed to Bruce Bozzi on SiriusXM’s Quarantined With Bruce show that acting was just never a great passion for her.
She admitted that after she won her Oscar for Shakespeare In Love, she didn’t know how to go on.

She added that ‘part of the the shine of acting wore off, you know, being in such intense public scrutiny.’
It also didn’t help that Gwyneth sees herself as ‘homebody,’ which doesn’t square well with the need to travel and be out in public as an A-lister.
After separating from Coldplay frontman Chris Martin in 2014, Gwyneth struck up a relationship with the TV producer Falchuk later in the year, and the two were married in 2018.
She shares two children with her ex, her 17-year-old lookalike daughter Apple and her 15-year-old son Moses.
