Hailey Bieber has one of the most famous faces in the world, so it stands to reason that she invest a lot of time and money in caring for it – including a very regimented and pricey skincare routine that ensures her complexion is at its most radiant before she steps in front of the camera.
The 24-year-old revealed the exact routine she uses ahead of a day at work on a shoot, explaining that she has crafted the intense regimen especially to wake up her complexion and boost her skin’s natural radiance.
However all of those high-end products and tools certainly don’t come cheap, with the model sharing more than $1,000 worth of skincare must-haves during a recent video that was posted to her YouTube channel, from a $150 face mask to a $400 vibrating facial tool.
Skincare secrets: Hailey Bieber has revealed the extensive – and very pricey – beauty regimen she uses to get ready for a photo shoot
Picture perfect: The 24-year-old model explained that her normal skincare routine is very quick and easy, but when it comes to prepping for a shoot, she does ‘more than usual’
Step one: To begin with, Hailey applies a face mask to her complexion, revealing that she loves the Biologique Recherche Masque Visolastine+ ($150.70) because it is incredibly hydrating
‘I wouldn’t typically do this long of a routine in the daytime, I would usually just wake up, wash my face, and maybe [use] a little bit of serum and SPF, but since I’m preparing for a work day, it’s a little bit more than usual,’ Hailey said of her regimen.
Hailey kicks off her pre-shoot skincare routine with a face mask – the Biologique Recherche Masque Visolastine+, a tricky-to-find French product that retails for $150.70 at Skinney Medspa. But while the mask is not the easiest to track down, and comes with a very high price tag, the model says that it’s more than worth the effort.
‘One of my favorite things to do when I’m getting ready for work is I will do a mask,’ she shared. ‘I wouldn’t do a mask every single day obviously, but when I want a little bit of an extra glow, I go for a nice calming, hydrating mask.
‘I hope this helps to wake my skin up a little bit, because she’s tired today.’
According to the Skinney Medspa website, the mask ‘boosts skin hydration’ which in turn results in a ‘soft and comfortable’ complexion that lasts all day long – perfect for spending hours on end in front of a camera.
Hailey doesn’t stop at just one mask, in fact she reveals that she likes to ‘kill two birds with one stone’ by layering on some under-eye masks on top of her face mask to de-puff her eye area – which she also achieves by using a vibrating gold face tool.
‘And while I have it [all] on, while it’s sitting there, under my eyes when they’re feeling a little bit more puffy, I will take a little tool like this,’ she explained, grabbing the Zena Foster Sonic Gold Beauty Bar ($59.99) and rubbing it slowly under her eyes.
The tool – which is also featured on Kourtney Kardashian’s website Poosh – is said to ‘mimic the effects of a professional facial massage’, and in doing so helps to boost circulation and ‘Contour, define, lift, and revive your face’.
‘I love facial tools, I’m obsessed with them. Give me any facial tool, I’ll try anything.
Double trouble: Once she has applied the face mask, Hailey ‘kills two birds with one stone’ by layering some under-eye masks over the top of it
Step by step: Admitting that she occasionally wakes up with ‘puffy eyes’, the fashion star runs over her under-eye area with the Zena Foster Sonic Gold Beauty Bar ($59.99)
Scrub: Instead of rinsing the mask off with water, Hailey uses a cleanser to make sure that there is ‘nothing excess left’ on her skin before she moves on with her regimen
Following on: Hailey follows her cleanser with an all-natural serum, the Biba Los Angeles Plant Stem Cell Peptide Serum ($85), a peptide-rich formula that ‘provides superb hydration’
‘It feels so good. I usually do this for maybe a minute between both eyes.’
While sitting with her face and under-eye masks on, allowing them to boost her skin, Hailey revealed that she is not the only skincare aficionado in her household – explaining that her husband, chart-topper Justin Bieber often joins in the routine.
‘My husband loves to do masks, just like I do so that’s a win for me,’ she joked.

She then peels off the eye masks and rinses off the mask with a cleanser to ‘make sure there’s just nothing excess left’ on her skin.
‘I really prefer like a creamy hydrating cleanser more than I prefer something that gets foamy and makes your skin feel really tight and dry,’ she explains, revealing that her cleanser of choice in this case is the Ranavat Botanics Ranavant Botanics Luminous Ceremony Cream Cleanser ($57), a product that is made with an Ayurvedic herb called Manjistha.
To counteract any early morning puffiness, Hailey massages her cleanser into her complexion, gently pushing it around her skin in order to ‘bring the blood flow’ to her face.
‘A lot of the time I wake up and my face feels a little bit swollen, like my lips are really swollen and my eyes will be swollen,’ she revealed.
‘I probably eat too much salt, but that’s my own bad. [So] I give myself a little massage, bring the blood flow into my face.’
Next up in her lengthy skincare regimen is serum – and for this, Hailey turns to the Biba Los Angeles Plant Stem Cell Peptide Serum ($85), an all-natural product that is rich in peptides, which the model says are one of the ‘best’ ingredients you can use on the skin.
‘I really really really love peptides for the skin, I think that it’s one of the best ingredients to use,’ she said while lightly rubbing the product into her complexion.
‘I love niacinamide, I love peptides, I love hyaluronic acid.’
After applying a light layer of moisturizer over her serum, Hailey moves onto the most expensive part of her beauty regimen – a $225 face oil that she applies using a $399 facial massaging tool.
The oil – the all-natural Furtuna Skin Due Alberi Biphase Moisturizing Oil – claims to ‘visibly plump skin’ courtesy of its hydrating formula, which contains olive oil and olive leaf water, while the Shani Darden Skin Care Facial Sculpting Wand works on targeting wrinkles ‘on a deeper level’, while helping to increase the skin’s ‘oxygen uptake’.
Pricey! The most expensive step in Hailey’s routine is the application of a $225 face oil, which she then follows with the $399 Shani Darden Skin Care Facial Sculpting Wand
Multitasker: She explains that the vibrating facial tool helps to soothe her jaw and temple aches, which come from overnight tooth grinding
Glow: Finally, Hailey applies a tinted SPF to her skin, something that she does every single day, even when she is just staying inside
The results: Hailey explained that she does a much more in-depth skincare routine whenever she is getting ready for a shoot
Although she notes that the tool looks a bit odd, Hailey waxes lyrical about its effects, explaining that the vibrating wand is one of her favorite items in the line-up – and one that she regularly gifts to other people so they can experience it for themselves.
‘Now, this right here is a facial massaging tool that you turn on and then it vibrates,’ she says while holding it up. ‘I really love this device, I gifted it to a lot of people this year for Christmas just because I think they’re fun to try and mess around with.’
The tool doesn’t just help to smooth out and plump Hailey’s skin either; she also revealed that it helps to treat soreness that she suffers as a result of overnight teeth clenching.
‘I clench my teeth really hard at night so when I wake up in the morning my jaw is usually kind of sore, and [I’m] like sore in my temples here, so this feels insane,’ she says.
Last but not least, the model applies SPF to her face, explaining that she is ‘very big’ on sunscreen and uses it every single day – even when she is only spending time inside.
‘My last step of this whole entire routine is going to be my sunscreen,’ she says, while showing off a bottle of the EltaMD UV Clear Tinted Broad-Spectrum SPF 46 ($38).
‘I am very big on SPF. I don’t leave the house without it, I don’t go to work without it, even if I’m just working from home and I’m inside the house, sun rays still hit you through the window.’
Hailey admits that there is a limit to her skincare expertise however, and she jokes that she never has any idea about how much SPF she is supposed to put on.
‘I know there’s a lot of debate around how much sunscreen you’re supposed to use when you apply it every day… I don’t have that answer,’ she confesses.
‘I couldn’t tell you. I’ve heard it said that it’s one full teaspoon, which sounds like a lot of sunscreen to me. The way I do it – and I am so down to be corrected, people can call me out if I’m wrong – but I use one full pump, and if I feel like I need more in other areas, I will add more.’
