'I miss you so much my boy': Brooklyn Beckham and Nicola Peltz mourn the death of their dog Frankie

Brooklyn Beckham and Nicola Peltz announced their dog Frankie had sadly passed away on Saturday. 

The bereaved couple took to Instagram with emotional tributes to their beloved pooch and shared a series of touching snaps with their pet. 

‘I miss you so much my boy. I love you so much,’ wrote Brooklyn alongside a sad photo of him and Nicola with their faces buried in Frankie’s fur.

‘It was an honor to be his dad’: The bereaved couple took to Instagram with emotional tributes to their beloved pooch

Brooklyn told his followers: ‘Frankie was the strongest, kindest dog I’ve ever met. He was so gentle and it was an honor to be his dad.’ 

The 22-year-old also shared a sweet selfie smiling with his pooch as the pair snuggled up on the sofa. 

Also included in the upload was a blurry closeup of Frankie and a close up of the star’s recent tribute tattoo of his beloved dog. 

Nicola also shared an emotional post about Frankie to Instagram, telling fans her heart was ‘shattered’ by her loss.

Nicola told her followers: ‘My heart is shattered. My angel frankie has gone to heaven and I can’t fathom the idea of not being able to kiss his face one more time. 

‘Every room he walked into everyone ran to him. His energy was so pure and full of happiness. He was the kindest dog I’ve ever met. 

‘The fact I got to be his mom is one of the proudest things I can say. I miss him so much, my heart will never be the same without him here on earth.

‘I love you so much frankie and I know I’ll see you again one day. Thank you for loving me.’

Nicola also shared a heartbreaking snap to her Instagram story of her resting her head gently on Frankie’s stomach with the caption ‘I miss you so much’. 

Another upload saw Frankie pose sweetly in a silk head scarf and snuggle up to his ‘mom’ in bed. 

And Nicola took the opportunity to show her support for Brooklyn as she posted an intimate snap of them kissing and wrote: ‘I promise to always protect you’.

The sad news comes after Nicola took to Instagram to share Brooklyn’s trip to the tattoo parlour on Tuesday. 

The actress shared the clip with her 2.1 million followers of Brooklyn getting Frankie’s face tattooed on his forearm.

The artwork, which was done by popular celebrity tattooist Doctor Woo, looked uncanny to their late pooch.

She donned a white shirt in the black and white snap as she lay on the couch with her eyes closed.

The beauty let her blonde locks fall loose down her shoulders while she added to her look with a pair of silver earrings.  

Nicola, who is best known for her role as Bradley Martin in Bates Motel, wrote alongside the snap: ‘Frankie Baby’.  

Nicola also shared a photo of Brooklyn pressing his head against the dog’s and wrote: ‘My boys are so amazing’.

Brooklyn, who lives in the US with Nicola, commented on the snap with: ‘My boy’.
