As New South Wales continues it’s extended lockdown period, people have started doing home renovations again.
And Gogglebox Australia stars Matty and Sarah Marie Fahd are no different.
Posting to his Instagram Stories on Wednesday, Matty, 34, shared footage of his hallway and bathroom, which are currently undergoing a transformation.

‘Day 3: Last day of demolition. Tiles ripped up to tea so original timber floorboards, framework begins, finalise our floor plan,’ he explained of the work.
Matty also went on to show off the potential look of their bathroom as they intend to add a luxurious bathtub by the window.
‘Old school shower pipes,’ Matty wrote alongside footage of his 1960s home.
Many eagle-eyes viewers of the show will have noticed that the popular duo have been filming the latest series from their brand new lounge room.
The 1960’s built one-story property features dark laminate flooring throughout, making it perfect for any accidents from their much-loved bulldog, Bane.

In pictures shared exclusively with Daily Mail, Matty revealed the modern new look he and his wife hope to achieve for their renovated bathroom.
The couple have gone for a marble-themed basin, and will accessorise with golden taps, by Phoenix Tapware.
For the project, the TV stars enlisted in the assistance of Sydney-based builder of Patrick Rosebery Constructions, as well as interior designer Sally Strozer.

Before making the move to the leafy suburb, makeup artist Sarah, 34, and communications director Matty lived in a smaller apartment closer to the city.
Over the past year, the couple have made small changes to their their new property, giving it more of a homely feel.

Last year, during the coronavirus pandemic, the first major home improvement they made was replacing the dated metal horizontal blinds with white plantation shutters.
‘We are so bloody happy to be able to still do some renovating during this pandemic and are in love with the final product,’ said Matty, thanking company Shutters Dept.

Cosy: They have already decorated the place to their taste and are gradually renovating
Meanwhile, doting dad Matty got busy transforming their large backyard too.
‘And just like that I’ve replanted my own agave garden,’ he boasted in July last year, after receiving some help and advice from his father, George.
Matty, Sarah, their 20-month-old son Malik and their best friend Jad are best known for their lively one-liners on Foxtel’s Gogglebox Australia.
