Isabelle Cornish shows off her bruised body during her appearance on SAS Australia

She’s been one of the most resilient competitors on SAS Australia.

But on Tuesday, Isabelle Cornish revealed the injuries she incurred during her time on the hit military-style series by sharing a picture of her bruised and scratched leg.

The 27-year-old actress posted the photo to her Instagram Stories, along with another image of her failed attempt of Tuesday’s task that required the recruits to fall backwards off a cliff.

‘When I saw this task, every part of my body said, ‘You ain’t doing that,” she recalled thinking at the time. 

‘I tried to convince my mind that I could, but in the split second I went to fall back, fear won,’ the Puberty Blues star added.    

Isabelle fell backwards into the water and makes the implication in her Instagram Stories that the damage from the fall contributed to her bruised leg.

The young actress is not the only competitor to demonstrate the physical toll of SAS Australia.

Former Miss World Australia Erin Holland also released graphic photos of her bruised body to Instagram earlier this month.

The 32-year-old model was seen with dozens of bruises across her legs and arms.

‘SAS Australia is unlike anything I’ve ever experienced. It’s 24/7 – so many tasks that can’t possibly all make it to air! SO much respect for my fellow recruits still toughing it out in there – it only gets wilder from here.’

Erin was the second celebrity to call it quits on the show.

She threw in the towel after she was forced to carry actor Dan Ewing during a physical training course.
