Northern Ireland suffered a difficult start to their 2022 World Cup qualification campaign, losing 2-0 to Italy.   

Domenico Berardi opened the scoring by creeping down the right flank and latching onto a long ball down the line before cutting inside and smashing it home. 

However, it was Ciro Immobile who closed out the game with a second and raised questions over Bailey Peacock Farrell’s ability after being beaten again at the near post.
