Maddie rocked an electric green mini dress in a series of photos for her first high school dance.

‘HOCO 2021,’ Jamie captioned the set. ‘Don’t worry, I also can’t believe my baby’s growing up and going to her first dance and doing all the things that make time zoom by and stand still all at the same time.’

Grandma Lynn Spears was also on hand to take a few pictures on the porch with her first granddaughter.

Jamie Lynn was recently caught in some hot water after having to change the name of her forthcoming memoir following backlash for using one of her sister’s lyrics for the title.

The former Nickelodeon actress reportedly planned to call her novel I Must Confess as a nod to her pop star sister’s song Baby One More Time.

But last week, Jamie Lynn revealed the new title and cover for the book, which she is calling Things I Should Have Said.

The original subtitle ‘Family, Fame and Figuring It Out’ also appeared to be removed from the book, which is set for a January 2022 release.

After news of the actress’ autobiography first sparked a backlash, publishers Worthy Publishing insisted the information that was released about the tome was not correct, including the title.

In a statement, the publisher said: ‘Worthy Publishing, an imprint of Hachette Book Group, became aware earlier today that premature information about Jamie Lynn Spears’s still-in-development book project has been erroneously released online to book retail sites.’

Spears revealed on Instagram earlier last week that she was already working on a novel about a woman who turns into a ghost after she was murdered.

”I’m writing a book about a girl⁣ who was murdered yet her ghost gets stuck in limbo because of trauma and pain and she doesn’t know how to cross over to the world she use to know!!!!’ she said.

The Toxic singer added: ‘After being stuck in limbo for three years, she is a ghost who thrives off of her reflection in her mirror for existence!!!!

‘She has no one she can trust but something happens and she figures out how to cross over to the world where her family is. Coming out of the limbo she has a decision to make … greet the same people who murdered her or create a whole new life.’

Britney, who is now engaged to fiance Sam Asghari, previously penned a young adult novel A Mother’s Gift, released in 2001 with her mom Lynn.

Spears certainly has a tale or two under her belt as her father was recently suspended from her conservatorship after serving as her court-ordered conservator for more than a decade following multiple mental health breakdowns which began in 2007.
