Jared Leto enjoys a casual Sunday in NYC as he steps out in white t-shirt and purple track pants

He’s back in New York City after spending time in Italy filming The House of Gucci for Ridley Scott.

And on Sunday, Jared Leto made the most of a day off from filming his latest project, the Apple TV+ series WeCrashed.

The actor, 49, kept it casual with a white t-shirt and purple track pants and stepped out in black trainers.

Leto carried a backpack with bright red straps.

He wore a pale pink face mask and carried a matching pink cap in one hand along with his phone.

In his other hand, he had a bottle of water and he also wore a fanny pack on a long strap.

Leto is sporting a shaggy hair cut for his role as disgraced WeWork CEO Adam Neumann in WeCrashed.

According to Variety, the streaming show is based on the podcast of the same name and will document the ‘greed-filled rise and inevitable fall of WeWork and the narcissists whose chaotic love made it all possible.

Leto co-stars with Anne Hathaway, who plays his on-screen wife Rebekah, and the pair are also serving as executive producers on the production.

Last month they were seen filming on location in Astoria, Queens.

The Dallas Buyers Club Oscar winner endured five hours of hair and makeup to transform him into his character for Ridley Scott’s The House Of Gucci, which wrapped filming in Italy in mid-May. 

The star-studded movie tells the story of the famous Italian fashion family and the murder of Maurizio Gucci in 1995 in a murder-for-hire plot orchestrated by his ex-wife Patrizia.

Adam Driver plays the ill-fated Maurizio and Lady Gaga plays Patrizia, who ended up spending 16 years in prison for her crime.

Leto plays Maurizio’s cousin Paolo Gucci, the son Of Aldo Gucci played  by Al Pacino, and photos from the location sets in Italy showed Leto completely unrecognizable thanks to prosthetics and makeup.
