    Jared Leto shows off his freshly trimmed locks as he films Apple TV+ series WeCrashed in New York City

    He’s famed for his luscious long locks.

    Yet Jared Leto showed off a bold new look on Wednesday as he arrived to film Apple TV+ series WeCrashed in New York City.  

    The Thirty Seconds to Mars frontman, 49, debuted much shorter tresses as he was spotted on location near the World Trade Center in Manhattan.

    Keeping his look casual, the performer wore a plain white T-shirt and a pair of dark blue denim jeans.

    The musician had on a pair of dark sunglasses to protect his eyes from the bright summer light in the eastern United States.

    His wavy locks were combed back off his face and rested just above his shoulders.

    The rocker had his long hair cut this week, sharing a picture of his new ‘do alongside a scissors emoji on Tuesday.

    WeCrashed is based on the podcast WeCrashed: The Rise and Fall of WeWork by Wondery. 

    Jared plays Israeli-born narcissist Adam Neumann in the show which is expected to finish filming in September. 

    Showrunners Lee Eisenberg and Drew Crevello are heading up the series, which ‘tells the greed-filled rise and inevitable fall of $50B commercial real estate startup’ WeWork, according to Variety.

    Jared is working alongside Anne Hathaway, 38, on the project, who plays wife of Adam, Rebekah Neumann.

    The show marks the first time Anne and and the Hail to the Victor rocker have worked together.

    Meanwhile, Jared has also been working on his band’s upcoming August music festival Mars Island. 

    Fans of Thirty Seconds to Mars can pay between £1,170-£5,074 to attend their all-inclusive three-day festival Mars Island, which happens August 20-23 on an island in Croatia.

    The My So-Called Life heartthrob has penned ‘over 100 songs’ for the band’s sixth studio album with his drummer half-brother Shannon as their lead guitarist after Tomo Milicevic quit the band in 2018.
