Jennifer Aniston goofs around in the control room as she takes a break from The Morning Show

She plays the face of The Morning Show on the hit Apple TV+ show of the same name.

But Jennifer Aniston took a seat backstage as she goofed around the set of the drama series.

In a throwback video posted to her Instagram account on Thursday, Jennifer, 52, sat in the control room and jokingly asked into the microphone, ‘God are you there? It’s me Jen.’

The video begins with Jennifer, looking chic in a black turtleneck, as she sat next to The Morning Show executive producer Kristin Hahn.

Jennifer fired off commands to the cameramen and marveled at the record weather Russia was experiencing.

‘Wow, look at those record snow flurries in Moscow,’ Jennifer said. ‘An exciting news day. God, are you there? It’s me Jen.’

In the caption, Jennifer wrote: ‘God are you there? It’s me Jen… live from the @themorningshow control room. slow news day….. @kristin.hahn1.’

Making headlines! Aniston marveled at the record-breaking weather in Russia 

Season two of The Morning Show debuted on Apple TV+ back in September, but the season finale will officially be dropping on Friday. 

Jennifer has been periodically posting behind-the-scenes snaps from the set on her Instagram account, whether it be video of her with rock legends Foo Fighters or snaps with her co-star Reese Witherspoon.

When the show premiered back in September, Reese called Jennifer ‘one of the funniest people’ she had ever met.

During an appearance on PEOPLE (the TV Show!), Reese said: ‘I have to say, when we do our fighting scenes, it’s really hard not to laugh and crack up, because we have to be so mean to each other. We just love each other much.

‘She’s literally one of the funniest people I’ve ever met. Her delivery is perfect on every joke.’ 

The feeling is obviously mutual, with Jennifer also gushing about her co-star.   

‘It’s always fun to fight with Reese because she’s such a sweet burst of sunshine that she’s, you know, not someone you wanna go scream your head off to,’ Jennifer said on Jimmy Kimmel Live! ‘And I usually always end up bursting into laughter at some point. It’s just too hard to be that mad with each other. But we do it.’
