The 49-year-old performer stayed close to her youngest child, aged nine, who was seen sporting a large blonde wig, as they crossed a busy street.

The actress shares Samuel, as well as her daughters Violet and Seraphina, with her former husband and costar, Ben Affleck, whom she divorced in 2018.

Garner cut a very casual figure during the outing, as she sported a light gray crewneck sweater and blue jeans.

The 13 Going on 30 star also wore a pair of black athletic shoes while she escorted her son away from the party.

The actress accessorized with a stylish set of sunglasses, and her gorgeous brunette hair cascaded onto her shoulders and backside.

Jennifer and her son both wore facial coverings to reduce their chances of contracting COVID-19 during their outing.

Garner and Affleck initially established a close friendship while working on the sets of features such as Pearl Harbor and Daredevil in the early 2000s.

Before she became romantically involved with her future spouse, 49, the actress was married to Scott Foley, whom she met while working on the set of Felicity.

The former couple initially tied the knot in 2000 and remained together before they separated in 2003 and finalized their divorce the following year.

The actress began dating the Gone Baby Gone star that same year, and they went on to make their union official during an intimate wedding ceremony that was held in Turks and Caicos in 2005.

Garner and Affleck quickly started a family, as they welcomed Violet Anne, aged 15, that very same year.

The two went on to add Seraphina Rose Elizabeth, aged 12, to their lives in 2009, and they later expanded their family with Samuel in 2012.

The pair remained together for three more years before they shocked many after announcing that they had separated in 2015.

The former couple worked out the terms of their divorce before their union was formally dissolved in 2018, although they have remained on good terms and co-parent their children.

Garner spoke about being a working mother during an interview with CNBC and told the media outlet that, although she is devoted to her career, she makes a point of staying in close contact with her children.

She said: ‘wherever I am, I try to be there 100%. If I’m at work, then I’m really at work. It doesn’t mean that I’m not getting called if a kid needs to go home from school, or if [my kids] are calling me after school to say, “What time will you be home?”‘

The performer also expressed that she wanted her children to understand that she was devoted to her career in an effort to prepare them for their respective futures.

‘I don’t think feeling guilty benefits my kids. I don’t think they feel better if I’m feeling guilty, either…Let your kids see you do your job with your whole heart,’ she stated.
