They were forced apart for several weeks earlier this year due to Covid lockdowns wreaking havoc on the AFL season.

So it’s no wonder Lance ‘Buddy’ Franklin, 34, is spending his off-season enjoying quality time with wife Jesinta, 29, and their two children, daughter Tullulah, one, and son Rocky, six months.

On Tuesday, the couple were spotted taking their kids to a leafy park near their home in Sydney’s Rose Bay.

The brunette accessorised with a pair of large sunglasses and covered her face with a leopard-print mask.

Rocky was strapped to his mother’s chest in a houndstooth baby carrier by Artipoppe worth $1,000.

The youngster appeared to be sound asleep, and was shielded from the breeze by a Sydney Swans beanie.

Buddy also had his hands full as he pushed Tullulah in her stroller while sipping from a take-away coffee cup.

The athlete wore a dark hoodie, shorts, sneakers and sunglasses.

The Franklins had an emotional reunion last month after being separated by border closures for weeks on end.

Jesinta and her kids jetted into Victoria on August 5 to finally spend time with Buddy, after the Swans were relocated while she was stuck in quarantine on the Gold Coast.

After arriving to Melbourne, Jesinta shared a photo to Instagram of Buddy holding his daughter Tullulah’s hand – confirming their reunion had finally taken place.

‘We finally made it,’ she captioned the photo, adding a love-heart emoji.

Jesinta told The Herald Sun earlier that day she and her family were about to hop on a flight to Melbourne, where the Swans were expected to stay all season following Queensland’s Covid-19 outbreak.

‘It’s day by day and the whole thing has changed so many times, but we’re hoping to get out,’ she said.

‘It’s been tough but it’s just the reality of the world we’re living in at the moment. Not only me and what all the other Swans and GWS players’ partners have to do, but thousands of Australians,’ she added.
