Kate Ritchie has paid tribute to her late friend, Dieter Brummer.
The actors starred on Home and Away together in the 1990s, and on Saturday, Kate, 42, shared a throwback photo of the pair as teenagers.
In the image, Kate and Dieter shared a warm embrace, posing forehead to forehead, with the actor wearing a leather jacket and beaming for the camera.

Brummer was best known for playing Shane Parrish in Home And Away, and was famously involved in a romantic storyline with Melissa George in the nineties.

The former teen heartthrob was found dead at a home in Sydney’s Glenhaven on July 24.
The star, who had in recent years switched professions to high rise window washing, was 45.
His death is not being treated and suspicious and believed to have been a suicide.

Following the news of his passing, Brummer’s family released a statement saying their world would ‘never be the same’.
‘We lost our handsome, talented, funny, complicated and beloved Dieter on Saturday morning. He has left a massive hole in our lives,’ they said.
