The stars turned out in droves to attend the prestigious opening gala for The Academy Museum Of Motion Pictures in Los Angeles on Saturday evening.

And Katy Perry went full glam for the occasion, even going as far as to conceal her bright blonde tresses with a lengthy raven wig.

The 36-year-old singer hit the red carpet with fiance Orlando Bloom, who looked dapper in a velvet tuxedo jacket and black trousers.

Perry slipped her famous curves into a black latex wiggle dress with a peplum waist lined with yellow piping.

The Teenage Dream singer completed the sultry look with some strappy heels and a pair of sparkly studded earrings.

As for makeup, Katy drew attention to her doe eyes with a pair of faux lashes and brought some life to her pout with a few dabs of peach lip lacquer.

Perry and Bloom, who have been engaged since Valentine’s Day 2019, looked very much in love as they giggled with one another on the red carpet. 

The 44-year-old Lord Of The Rings star rocked a freshly shaven face and had his brunette hair slicked back.

Just last month, the couple celebrated their daughter Daisy Dove’s first birthday.

After getting in some time with her soon-to-be husband, the Roar hitmaker wandered over to fellow popstar Lady Gaga.

The duo, whose fans famously feud on social media about who is the ‘queen’ of pop, proved there is enough room in the industry for two.

The festive Saturday evening, co-chaired by Ava DuVernay, Ryan Murphy, and Jason Blum, honored actress Sophia Loren and filmmaker Haile Gerima.

Tom Hanks, Annette Benning and Bob Iger were also being recognized for their fundraising efforts for the museum.  

Other stars who attended the event included Brad Pitt, Lady Gaga, Nicole Kidman, Regina King, Laura Dern, Anna Kendrick, Kate Hudson, Maggie Gyllenhaal, Cher, Queen Latifah and Kristen Stewart, among many others.   

The new Academy Museum of Motion Pictures, which is located on the LACMA campus, will officially be open to the public starting on September 30.
