We’re used to seeing them burn up the dance floor as Strictly Come Dancing professionals.
But Katya Jones, 32, and Giovanni Pernice, 30, took part in a very different kind of competition in a London park at the weekend.
The twinkle-toed stars were ready to race as they battled it out with remote control cars for MeccaBingo.com.

Russian Katya brought a touch of subtle glamour to the situation by wearing a glitzy black jacket.
She wore a pair of tasseled trousers which flared outwards as she moved while she had on a pair of tan heels to add a light splash of colour.
Her black hair rested on her shoulders while she wore crimson red lipstick on her lips.

Giovanni looked dapper in a charcoal jacket and blue-grey turtle neck top, while he wore a pair of matching shoes on his feet.
The star donned a Gucci belt with a statement gold buckle and completed his look with a pair of dark jeans while hiding behind a pair of aviator sunglasses.
Katya and Giovanni appeared to be enjoying themselves as they smiled while racing the cars.

But it was Katya who won the race and she celebrated by punching the sky while visibly laughing out loud.
The glamorous dancer turned 32 earlier this month and enjoyed a five-and-a-half hour lunch with her BBC co-stars Janette Manrara and Luba Mushtuk.
Previous birthdays for the star have been eventful as in 2018 she was pictured kissing her then dance partner, comedian Seann Walsh, while she was still married to now ex-husband Neil Jones.
It comes after Katya paid tribute to former flame Neil on his 39th birthday with a series of ’embarrassing’ throwbacks earlier this month.
Katya posted a vintage image of her and Neil from their marriage, including a shot of them at a party.
The dancer captioned the post: ‘Happy Birthday @mr_njonesofficial! Geez, you’re getting old.

Earlier this year, Katya spoke out about the demise of her seven-year marriage to Neil.

In an interview with Waggel, the star reflected on how she found her 30th birthday ‘challenging’ because her marriage to Neil was going ‘downhill’.
Talking about the dark period, she said: ‘In 2019 I turned 30, it was a challenging time. I didn’t like where I was, it felt like I was in limbo actually.
‘My relationship was going downhill. I didn’t feel happy in my own company until May 2020, when I spent my birthday in lockdown.’
Katya also revealed she has used the time since her split from Neil to ‘better myself’ and hasn’t dated since they broke up.
She said: ‘I’ve come out of a marriage, not even a long-term relationship, but a marriage. Neil and I were together for 12-years, married for seven.’
The professional dancer said she hasn’t even thought about dating because ‘I’ve just been with this person for such a long time’.
