Showbusiness veteran Kerri-Anne Kennerley has made her first public appearance since burying her mother, Grace, last week.
The 67-year-old was surrounded by supportive friends as she attended an event hosted by Meat and Livestock Australia event at Sydney’s Pier One hotel.

This event marked Kerri-Anne’s first public appearance since her mother’s funeral last week.
At the time, she shared a photo of her mother’s coffin on Instagram, and wrote: ‘Farewell to the most beautiful mother in the world.’
Grace died on May 25 at the age of 99. She was just months away from her milestone 100th birthday.

‘This morning we lost our beautiful dancing queen, always elegant and graceful,’ Kerri-Anna said in a statement announcing her mother’s passing.
‘She is now up there dancing with dad and John. We will always love you, mum.’
This was in reference to her late husband, John Kennerley, who died in 2019.
