Kim Kardashian addresses rumors she's dating her legal mentor, CNN host Van Jones

Keeping Up with the Kardashians star Kim Kardashian shut down rumors that she was dating anyone after filing for divorce from her third husband Kanye West in February.

The Final Curtain reunion moderator Andy Cohen first asked the 40-year-old mother-of-six about Van Jones, who filed for divorce from his wife of 14 years Jana Carter in 2019.

Kim replied: ‘Van texted me and was like, “This rumor has gotten me so many dates and I’m so grateful, So I owe you.”‘

The 52-year-old CNN host first enlisted Kardashian in 2018 to help him convince President Donald Trump to pass the First Step Act, and he quickly became her legal mentor.

It was Van (born Anthony) who introduced the aspiring attorney to Jessica Jackson and Erin Haney, who’ve been helping her prepare for the California State Bar in 2024.

During the KUWTK series finale on June 10, Kim revealed to the pair that she was ‘totally bummed’ she failed the ‘Baby Bar’ exam for the second time, and will try again later this month.

Kardashian is following the footsteps of her late father – OJ Simpson defense attorney Robert Kardashian Sr. – who died, age 59, from esophageal cancer in 2003 when she was only 22.

Cohen also confronted the KKW Beauty/SKIMS CEO about rumors she canoodled with Colombian crooner Maluma during the Goodtime Hotel launch party in Miami on April 16.

‘No. I’m not dating either one. Not Van Jones, not Maluma,’ Kim clarified.

‘I’ve known [Maluma]. I’ve seen him a few times, always in Miami. Such a nice guy.’

Fans can catch the second part of the 20th (and final) season reunion of Keeping Up with the Kardashians this Sunday on E!

But the Kardashian-Jenner clan aren’t going anywhere as they signed a new multi-year global content deal with Hulu/Star on December 10, which starts streaming in late 2021.

The half-Armenian beauty will also voice Delores the Poodle in Cal Brunker’s animated feature PAW Patrol: The Movie, which hits UK theaters August 13 and US theaters August 20.
