Kristin Cavallari shows fans her stripped down kitchen as she prepares to renovate

Kristin Cavallari showed off her stripped-down kitchen to her fans as she prepared to have the room in her Nashville home renovated.

The 34-year-old reality TV blonde revealed the room was completely bare with even the counters apparently torn out.

Her wooden ceiling was exposed, much of the paint had been scraped off the walls and there was cardboard taped all over the floor.

‘MY KITCHEN CURRENTLY,’ the former The Hills star wrote over the stark image adding: ‘LET THE REMODEL BEGIN!’ 

Kristin also took to her Insta Stories this Thursday to promote her Rocker Girl earrings from her brand Uncommon James.

She modeled the earrings herself and showed them off for the camera revealing she would typically wear them ‘with jeans and a T-shirt.’

However she confessed that ‘I am dressing them up today,’ as she was seen wearing a pair of fashionable striped trousers that complemented the $68 earrings.

Kristin’s latest promotion for her brand comes in the wake of a TMZ report that her estranged husband Jay Cutler is after part-ownership of Uncommon James.

Jay allegedly is arguing he is entitled to own 50% of the company because Kristin founded it during their marriage.

Kristin is said to be resisting his attempt to assume part-ownership, saying she launched the brand with her own money and he did not invest in it.

The jewelry line was launched online in 2017 and Kristin has since also opened brick-and-mortar locations in Chicago, Nashville and Dallas.

Kristin and Jay announced their split over a year ago and had lately been managing an amicable co-parenting relationship. 

In late January Kristin and Jay cryptically shared the same joint selfie with the same caption: ‘The world is full of users. 10 years. Can’t break that.’

Rumors quickly reached a fever pitch that they were getting back together but shortly thereafter a People source confirmed they were not.

Kristin married Jay in 2013 after dating him for years and they welcomed three children – Camden, eight, Jaxon, seven, and Saylor, five.

Last April they announced that they were getting divorced, since which time Kristin has dated and broken up with comedian Jeff Dye.

Although Kristin and Jay initially squabbled over money and the children they have since settled on split custody.

In September Kristin told Entertainment Tonight that she ended her reality show Very Cavallari in order to keep the divorce off of TV.

‘I didn’t want to talk about my divorce on camera and have to expose that. I really think that some things should be kept private,’ she explained.
