Aldi Specialbuys go on sale each Thursday and Sunday and often attract thousands of shoppers who are placed in an online queue. Specialbuys are items that cover a huge range of categories, including garden, DIY, homeware, technology, and more.

The product features an easy access zip-up door and a carry bag for storage and transportation.

It also has airy mesh sides to provide ample ventilation and easy visibility so you can keep an eye out for your children as they play.

The playpen can be assembled easily and no tools are required.

Aldi announced the sale of the product on Tuesday, August 10, with an Instagram post, saying: “Need something safe and secure to keep the little ones contained? We’ve got you covered. Mamia Playpen, available online now.”

One person said: “This looks good.”

Another shopper added: “This is what we need.”

One person wrote: “Such good value.”

The last time Aldi sold the Mamia Playpen, it received raving customer reviews.

One person wrote on the supermarket’s website: “Excellent value playpen, have seen similar online for much more money. As other reviews have said you do need a bit of strength to get the last pole in place when assembling due to the nature of the material, but it’s strong and durable and wipes clean easily. It has withstood my little boy trying to climb up the sides – so far so good!”

Another customer commented: “Very sturdy and a lovely size! My little one loves it and it’s lovely to feel at ease knowing she’s safe in it.”

One person said: “This is an excellent playpen – sturdy and safe. Not easy to dismantle but if left up it’s brilliant.”

Another customer added: “Excellent quality, lovely zip door to play with my great granddaughter.”
