Georginio Wijnaldum won the hearts of Liverpool fans as he helped the club end their 30-year wait for a league title… but his five-year spell at the club looks to be coming to an end.
The 30-year-old is out of contract at the end of the season and has not agreed a new deal, with Barcelona the favourites to secure his signature this summer.
This would see him link up with his former Holland international manager Ronald Koeman and would leave the Reds looking for someone to fill his shoes.
Former Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey is reportedly in line for a shock move to Anfield while Jurgen Klopp is said to be keeping tabs on Yves Bissouma and Houssem Aouar.
With Wijnaldum seemingly on his way to the Nou Camp, Sportsmail takes a look at his main possible replacements.

The Welshman has struggled to really fulfil his potential since joining Juventus in 2019.
Ramsey has scored six goals and made six assists in 61 appearances for the Italian side and has failed to cement a regular starting place. However, injuries have limited the midfielder’s game time in the last two campaigns.
The 2019-20 season saw him start 11 of the club’s 38 Serie A games while he has started 12 of their 28 games this term.
Juve’s bloated squad looks set to be trimmed this summer and Ramsey, 30, is one of the players that could be available.
His proven Premier League experience makes him a possible option for Liverpool but the club may be wary of his injury record having already seen a number of their players sidelined this season.
His wages may also prove to be a stumbling block – he takes home a staggering £400,000 per week in Turin.

The Brighton midfielder has gone from strength to strength since his move to the Premier League in 2018 with this being his most impressive season so far.
The 24-year-old is known for his no-nonsense tackling and his energy levels, which would suit the style of football played by Klopp’s side.
Bissouma is attracting interest from several clubs and the Reds would face competition for his signature.
Leicester and Arsenal are also thought to have an eye on him and the Seagulls will want a big fee given he is contracted at the club until 2023.
He is a key part of Graham Potter’s squad, starting 26 of their 27 league games and was particularly impressive in the 1-0 victory over Liverpool at Anfield in February.

Aouar has been linked with a move away from Lyon in the last few transfer windows and he is reportedly an option Liverpool are considering.
The Frenchman came close to joining Arsenal before they signed Thomas Partey last summer.
The midfielder has four goals and six assists this season and he is seen as having great potential, with Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola talking him up in the past.
‘[Aouar] is a very good player,’ Guardiola said. ‘He is incredible. He’s always very calm with the ball at his feet, with an excellent technical quality.’
The 22-year-old would be a more expensive option for Liverpool with Lyon said to value him at £65million. With the club set to lose Wijnaldum for nothing, that could put Aouar out of their price range.

The Borussia Monchengladbach midfielder has won plenty of plaudits after an impressive breakthrough campaign under Marco Rose this season.
The 24-year-old, who has a release clause of £23m, has reportedly attracted interest from several European clubs, including Liverpool, Manchester City, Bayern Munich and Juventus.
As well as doing the defensive side of the game, Neuhaus has seven goals and seven assists in all competitions and would offer important attacking contributions.
He made his debut for the German national team in October and could be in line to make their squad for the Euros this summer.

The Norwegian was flourishing in a struggling Sheffield United side before he suffered a hamstring injury which required surgery.
That has kept him out since December but he is now edging towards a return. While the Blades are heading for relegation to the Championship, Berge could stay in the Premier League, with the midfielder expected to leave the Yorkshire club.
Liverpool showed an interest in Berge while he was at Genk but did not make an approach before he joined the Blades for £22m in January 2020.
The 23-year-old has proven he can compete in the top flight and is clearly a player Liverpool admire.
Sheffield United’s impending relegation also means he is likely to be available for a smaller fee than the other options mentioned.
