Midfield has been one of Klopp’s key experimental areas during pre-season, so places against Norwich are certainly up for grabs.
Naby Keita, James Milner and Harvey Elliot have all been regulars during the warm-ups, and at least one of those talents is expected to help kick off their campaign on Saturday.
When it comes to Henderson, the Englishman will surely be phased into the side over the course of the first few weeks, given his supber relationship with the boss and label as club captain.
Despite going to Euro 2020, his injury from the end of last season seems to have had a lingering effect, and the 31-year-old does not yet appear to be back up to full speed.
