Liverpool injury latest as Fabinho, Naby Keita, Thiago and James Milner return dates set

    Keita’s injury may not be as bad as first feared though with Lijinders praising the intervention of VAR.

    “VAR is there to make the game honest, to protect players. It was a bad tackle on Naby but it’s just a bruise. It’s looking better and better,” he said.

    On Thiago, the Liverpool coach added: “Brighton will be close, but probably not. He’s almost back.”

    And there was more good news on Fabinho’s possible return as he wasn’t ruled out of featuring against Brighton.
